How does Simmer work?

Paste any recipe URL into the app (or share it directly from Safari). Our AI analyzes the recipe and reformats it into clear, step-by-step cooking instructions with built-in timers, metric conversions, and smart step reordering.

Do I need to create an account?

No. Simmer works without any account, login, or signup. Your identity is device-based — just download and start cooking.

How many recipes can I parse for free?

Free users can parse up to 4 recipes per week. Cooking mode, timers, and all saved recipes are always free with no limits.

What is Simmer+?

Simmer+ is our premium subscription that unlocks unlimited recipe parsing and video recipe extraction (TikTok, YouTube). It includes a 7-day free trial.

How do I cancel my subscription?

Subscriptions are managed through Apple. Go to Settings > Apple ID > Subscriptions > Simmer+ on your iPhone to cancel or change your plan. You'll keep access until the end of your current billing period.

How do I restore my purchases on a new device?

Open Simmer, go to Settings, and tap Restore Purchases. Your subscription is linked to your Apple ID and will be restored automatically.

My recipe didn't parse correctly. What can I do?

Some recipes from unusual sources may not parse perfectly. Try pasting the URL again — our AI models are regularly updated. If the problem persists, email us with the recipe URL and we'll look into it.

Which languages are supported?

Simmer is fully available in English and Polish. The app automatically detects the language of the recipe you paste.

Does Simmer work offline?

Once a recipe is parsed and saved, you can access it offline — including full cooking mode with timers. Parsing a new recipe requires an internet connection.

Does Simmer collect my data?

Simmer collects minimal data. We don't track you across apps, we don't show ads, and we don't sell data. Your recipes are stored locally on your device. See our full Privacy Policy for details.
